My name is Kali also known as Mawule, Emmanuel or Kris.

I am a fashion designer from Togo, West Africa. I live in Portland, Oregon, USA.

I create fashion for men and women with the character and culture of West Africa and influences from around the globe. I have been designing and sewing my own creations for more than 15 years.

My inspiration comes from nature, everyday life, and my imagination of what can make life better, more fashionable and more comfortable.

With that in mind I have created a new logo made of two letters "K" which symbolize the dual identity of someone who is dancing in joy.

To me, the two letters "K" represent love, hope and happiness that I want to bring to everyone who wears Kris-Kali or 2K.

At 2K we stand for fair trade and accountability – and you can trust that all of our clothing is handmade with utmost care, with quality and is locally produced.

I create clothes so that you can wear what you like and what brings you happiness and self confidence.

In addition to designing and making my own clothes, I also design my own fabric for some of my creations.
